The aera® 500 touchscreen portable GPS offers easy transition from flying to driving with an intuitive, icon-driven user interface. The aera® 500 features a crisp 4.3" QVGA widescreen, plus the simplicity of a single cable solution for power, music and antenna options.  For aviation, aera® combines colorfully detailed topography with built-in terrain/obstacles alerting and complete Jeppesen database. In the car, the dual-boot aera® offers the ease and simplicity of Garmin's industry leading Nuvi automotive navigators featuring City Nav NT mapping, with audio callout of street names simplifying navigation.
